A procurement reverse auction is an auction in which suppliers bid prices downward to win a buyer's order, and Easy.Auction offered this format on its higher Business and Enterprise packages. The same platform provided timed auctions with chosen start and end times, user verification by email and SMS, and internal messaging. Easy.Auction stays online for existing customers but no longer accepts new subscriptions. Easy.Auction is continued as Auctify, which offers a 7-day free trial but does not run procurement auctions; on Auctify, "Reverse" means a price that climbs from a low start until a buyer accepts.

Through verification. Easy.Auction has user verification by email, SMS verification of new users and optional upfront credit-card verification of bidders, so each supplier registering for a procurement auction can be checked before bidding. Bidder privacy settings, such as hiding bidders' usernames, are also available to the site owner.
