Easy.Auction is hosted auction software that gemstone and diamond sellers can use to run online gem auctions on their own domain for a flat monthly fee. Sellers define custom attributes per category to describe each stone, for example carat weight, cut, clarity or colour. A reserve price per listing keeps a stone from selling below the seller's minimum, and because all official currencies are supported, stones can be priced in the currency of the dealer's market. Frequently asked questions
Can I list carat weight and clarity for each gemstone?
Yes, through custom attributes. Easy.Auction has no built-in carat or clarity fields, but you can define attributes for each category, such as carat weight, clarity, colour, cut or origin. Loose diamonds and coloured gemstones can sit in separate categories with different attributes.
Can buyers message me with questions about a gemstone before they bid?
Yes. Easy.Auction includes internal messaging, so a buyer can contact the seller on the site about a stone's details before placing a bid. Bidders can also add gemstones to a watch list and receive an outbid email if someone bids higher on a stone they want.
Can I charge winning bidders for sending a gemstone?
Yes. Easy.Auction lets you set a handling or shipping fee on each listing, so the cost of sending the stone is part of the lot. A listing can also carry a Buy Now price, letting a buyer purchase the gemstone outright instead of bidding.
